Collaborative Research Center 1333
The Collaborative Research Center 1333 – “Molecular heterogeneous catalysis in confined geometries” started in July 2018. We aim to identify and understand confinement effects in organometallic catalysts selectively immobilized within the pores of mesoporous supports. For the Minisymposium on “Catalysis under Confinements” we put together a panel of four reknown speakers in the research areas of catalysis, material sciences and spectroscopy.
We are happy to welcome Prof. Amir Hoveyda, Prof. Antoni Llobet, Prof. Samuel I. Stupp and Prof. Ullrich Tallarek for the Minisymposium at the University in Stuttgart. They will present their latest results and discuss them. Moreover national and international doctoral researchers will be invited. They will present their work in a poster session.

Brilliant Program
The Program is lead by our central research question:
Can we adopt the concept of confinement from biocatalysis to the rational design of hybrid organometallic catalysts in the pores of mesoporous supports and thereby achieve improved catalysts?
Moreover we want to deal with topics and research questions that are connected or linked to our central research question.
See, discuss and create the future.
